Introduction:
MegaLauncher II is a logical continuation of version 1x. This shell is intended to simplify all operations connected with Palm OS. This system seems to be complicated only on the face of it. Some minutes after starting operating the system you will manage to gain an understanding of it. The intuitively understandable symbols allow you to use many functions effectively without a long thinking.

Installation:
Install MegaLauncher II v.2.3 (Wolf) as follows:

I use Enhanced Pilot App Installer V 0.32, which is freeware.

Comments on Features:
It says what it does, and does what it says. This is a very good launcher. I switched from Silverscreen 1.9.x, which I had been a loyal user of since about a week after I got my Visor... About 7 months. Thanks Greg (Gaub) for beaming it to me!

Usage:
This launcher is quite straightforward and easy to use. I never even read anything about it; I just started fiddling and figured it out. It's very well designed and stable. I have had ZERO problems with it.

Bugs and Defects:
None that I am aware of.

Additional Comments:
Very good. Get it now!

Likes:
* Fresh, clean, familiar interface (looks 3D). Good design, very detailed.
* Many different modes of use (Standard/Full Screen, Big/Small Icon Display/Groups).
* Archive box
* Beam box
* Trash can

Dislikes:
The launcher sometimes disables actions such as delete on items that really could be deleted. It can be overcome by just exiting the launcher and deleting through the regular PalmOS interface. I suppose it's really a good thing because it could prevent you from deleting something accidentally. This only affects some applications... The one I'm thinking of is the Datebk3 Stub program to hide DateBook+ on my Visor because I'm using Action Names! from iambic.com.

Who Should Buy:
Anybody who can't crack it... No, seriously, it's only $20. I'm going to register it after I register Action Names!.

Who Shouln't Buy:
Whoever doesn't like the program I guess... I can't imagine who that might be...

Cost:
$20

Rating:
5 Needles (out of 5)
