SeaPUG Meeting, June, 2001

After the introductions, where we shared our names and occupations with the group, we dove right into our monthly "Helping Palms" session. We had a couple questions with more or less of an answer for each, but at least they question was asked, and we did our best to provide an answer! :)

Shortly after Helping Palms, we played another round of Palm Games. We played another game of Address Race this month, and both teams learned a lot about how to receive a contact, locate it, and beam it to another person. One person without a PalmOS device was even loaned one to use as a member of one team!

After the Palm Games, we took a short break and people conversed for a few minutes. Soon, Jason Melancon was ready to present the Handera 330. Jason did a wonderful job telling us all about the Handera 330 PalmOS device. He used the Handera emulator on the computer to show much of the functionality. He also courageously allowed his Handera to be passed around the room to be seen up close. Jason was also aided by a couple other members who had recently purchased Handera devices who were able to help with questions from the group. Be sure to read Jason's review of the Handera 330, along with his list of tested applications below his review.

Last but certainly not least, we had a slew of door prizes from the following sponsors...
