Midnight Express is the Bullet Train team's friendly, easygoing junior member. He sets the mood for the team with a cheerful, fun-loving attitude that will have everyone feeling upbeat - yet when it comes to the enemy, he's tough and unrelenting. He's good in the cold: he melts snow with his heat missiles and slices icebergs down to size with his light swords.

Toy Review:
Color Scheme:
Mostly white with some blue, and accents in yellow. He also has the big red Autobot logo on his roof (vehicle mode) and gray painted windows.
Robot Mode:
In robot mode he has gargantuan legs, more disproportionate than Ultra Magnus'. With his over size shoulder pad/wing things, he surpasses Railspike in dorkiness. But, like Railspike, his dorkiness is forgive due to the fact that he's a bullet train and part of a combiner team. Big legs, big should wings, and small arms... not much else to say.
Vehicle Mode:
A bullet train! Midnight Express also appears to be a double-decker (two story) train, which adds to the coolness of his vehicle mode. His weapon also sticks out a little farther than I think it should when stored in this mode, but not as badly as Railspike. At least it looks ok.
Transformation:
Roof panels lift up and each end of the train extends and folds down to become his legs. His small arms come out from under his shoulder wing things, and his head flips up from the mid-section. A couple other flips and bits and he's done. No big deal.
Gimmicks:
His weapon fires a projectile a reasonable distance, and stores in his backside in vehicle mode.
Pros/Cons:
Dorky robot mode, but nice train mode, and combines with other bullet trains to form a larger robot.
Notes:
Merges with other Bullet Train Team members to form Rail Racer.

Comments: The big legs are kind of cool on one side, but i always love the gestalts that need 2 tf's for the legs, anyway the biggest problem i have with midnight express are this arms, they keep disconnecting, falling off, especially when i've combined all the trains to rail racer. So i just leave them off when i form the gestalt.

Comments: I think his legs are fine (otherwise Rail Racer's leg's would look too small). I just wish his upper torso would go up a little higher.
