"Now listen here!" Lazorbeak threatened, staring up at the daunting visage of the Predacon leader. "I didn't sign up here to be your lackey! And you can just slag me now, because I'm not groveling." Megatron gritted his teeth in anger, but Lazorbeak didn't flinch. Then the Predacon leader's optic's softened.
"Congratulations. You've passed the test! Welcome, Lazorbeak!" Lazorbeak surprisedly accepted Megatron's massive hand. Then Megatron pointed to a second, (lower) chair, which Lazorbeak sat in. "What's the time till we come out of warp?" he asked.
"How long for us to enter realspace?" Megatron snapped at an officer.
"Seven cycles."
"Excellent, yees." Megatron gloated. Lazorbeak stared around at the consoles from his vantage point. Some he recognized, others were alien to him. When he looked up again, he noticed Megatron looking at him, a funny expression in his optics, a mixture between amusement and suspicion. "You remind me of Terrorsaur." Megatron said.
"Who's Terrorsaur?" Lazorbeak asked.
"Nevermind. To say the least, I wouldn't want you to use him as a role model." Lazorbeak couldn't think of anything to say. Megatron continued. "When we reach our destination, we will be splitting our forces into two groups. One will land on the surface, and the other will secure space and man the Vengeance. Now is your chance to prove your loyalty. Take the assault troops and capture the surface!" Megatron clenched one hand in a fist, eyes glowing fiercely.
"Yes, commander." Lazorbeak said. "Predacons forever!" He saluted.
"Predacons forever!" Megatron replied, returning the salute. Lazorbeak marched sharply out of the command center.
"Coming out of warp now!" Exclaimed the navigator.

What do you do now?

Stay with Megatron on the Vengeance.
