Chapter 9: The trip back to Delgan

To Sky Jack space was a never ending sea of black water and sky, he feared it knowing full well that at any moment someone, or something, could come hijack the ship and kill him with out a care. Taking great precausions he dialed down the hyperdrive and eged it into hype space. Stars flashed past like white hot lines along the darkness, as the ship flew through the Ithurian terminal, Sky Jack began to ponder the fact that in his youth he could have taken over Hogpodges job with out a care in the world. Yet now though he was to old and worn from battle to go into such a dangerous mission.
" Yet she is still youthful thanks to that trip though the Matrix." Sky Jack sneered to himself. " If those blasted idoet we call our makers hadn't have taken her out, I would be right now in charge of the Wrath socity.
During the War for the Earth, Dark Star ( a F-14 figher jet) had been pushed into the Matrix during a battle with an Autobot leader named Hawkeye. The new Decepticon ranks thought her for dead, but after 5 years a transformer calling herself Death Specter appered during a small battle on the newly created Rendova island in the South Pacific. This being tore a relble Decepticon in two with her bare hands and wore the decesed Decepticons head as a helmat. She vowed loyalty to the then leader Omegatron. Death Specter soon proved to be both a great ally and a great tratior. She not oley trapped the new leader of the Autobot Maximus Prime within a tomb made from Plasitin, a mixture of plastic and tin that was nearly unbreakable, but she also effectively destroyed the higher archy of the Decepticon leader ship and then almost killed Omegatron, whom had been thought destroyed and was revied by the work of a race of beings called the Vok. During Death Spectors reign as leader of the Decpticons a small scientest made the startling discovery of Dark Stars body blow the very Chamber that had once held the the Sharkticons upon the plant that was ruled by the Quints. He discoved that Dark Star had at one time been a guard for the quints and they had somehow retrived her body from within the Matrix. They had then taken her memories and tried to reconstruct a new version of their great body guard, but this new one also proved to be too rebelious and she kill most of the Quint's great scientests. The new transformer took on the name of Death Spector and vowed to return Cybertron to it's true masters. The left over memories of Dark Star were replaced in her mind and she was reactivated by the scientest. He then urged her to come with him and defet Death Spector. She refused citing that she couldn't recall herself ever being involved with the Decepticons. Out of frustration the scientest struck Dark
Star on the back of the head, this gared her unrelenting rage and she killed the Scientist with one deadly blast from her sniper rifle. She retreated to earth and then under the guise of a hurt Autobot got help from a young criminal named Henry. He repaired her and for his act of kindness she shot him dead. As it was Heynrey was the same man who had year earlier jammed up her circuts so that she would be killed by Hawkeye. Dark
Star then made her way to the Moon of earth in where the Decepticons had taken up base. It was here that Dark Star and Death Spector dueled to the death. One walked away the other was turned to molten metal. Death Specter's remains were placed upon a wall as a reminder to all that opposed the great assassian.
Once she defeted her rival Dark Star went about trying to fix her memory and command the Decepticon fleet. It was during this great battle that the energy from the two rivials had buit up enough power to create, in effect, an energon explosion that surggered right to the tomb below the throne room where Maximus was being held captive. He escaped and Dark Star had no choice but to launch a full front attack upon the Autobots hopeing to destroy them all. In time Omegatron returned and resumed power from Dark Star, after the War for the Earth, Dark Star remained loyal to the Decpticon cause until she decieded to split the large army up into two groups. The first was the Predicons named for the Great Predaking, this was the more public group of ansestors to the Decepticoans, while the second group would remain hidden until the right moment had occured. This was the Wrath socity brought to life by the commite of Dark Star, Thursu Minor ( a member of a crimal synidcate called the Banes, he was a Sherlani, a species of humaniod alians that had a scale like skin. ), Ranicid, a member of the Tripedicus councle as well a offical for the Maximal elders, and Sra Anga, a human that defected from her race years ago to. The Wrath socity opperated off of Dalgan, a small planet that was very simmiler to that of the planet Mars. It was here that the second group of decepticons planed their missions to over though the Maximals and remaing Autobots.
The sudden siren woke Sky Jack from his thoughts, he glanced over his maps and found that he was nearing they system. He dialed up his drive, and revursed his thursters to slow down. As he did this stars took on therir natural shape and a brilliant red planet hovered before him. A beep from his comm system forced him to stall his landing. he flicked the switch and said, " Flyers Fire to Regal base, requesting landing permission. Is there some trouble ?"
" Admiral Torq here, Commander Sky Jack." the sqeakee voice sounded over the comm. Sky Jack girred his metal teeth and shivered. Torq was barely an adolesent and the way he acted he wasn't even going to make it to his next upgrade. Torq had a strange habit of requesting gifts from travels that landed upon the planet, Sky Jack had none and the boy would refuse to let him land if he did not give him one. " Sir I....ahem....we need some sort of toll payment before you land. Can you pay?"
" Yeah I'll give you your payment alright kid," thought Sky Jack bitterly. " I'll stick it right up your exhust pipe! Little peice of Maximal slag."
To Torq he replyed, " Why yes I do, but I have to land to give it to you."
" Oh boy, is it a car, I loves cars." Torq shouted in his squeakey voice , Sky Jack covered his audio sensors in fear that they would be damaged by the younger bot. " Is it a surprise?"
" You'll just have to wait and see...." Sky jack replyed to Torq who gave him the okay to land. As the Flyers Fire came down slowly though the atmospher Sky Jack checked his torpedos supply. He only had two left, that ment he had better make them count. As the ship slowly landed Torq's voice once again came over the comm channel to annoy Sky Jack.
" So where's my surprise?" Sky Jack turned the plane slowly and lined it up with the tower. Torq asked again, " Well were is it?"
KABOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!! The torpedos hit the target and blew it up with in nanoseconds. Sky Jack gave the remains a nasty sly smile and hissed to no one. " Surprise!"
With in moments he had made his way to the temple of Longa, which was a building that was buried under a mountain on Dalgan, once inside he made his way to the underground world of the Wath's. The gleam of the citys lights was almost blinding. The city of Wake had been based upon the small unknown decepticon strong hold of Gavain. The buildings were a mix of wepons and living structues that could be raise to the surface of Dalgan when the need ever arose, it had yet to but Dark Star had insisted that training for such a situation would happen upon the third night of every full moon. In doing this she kept her forces ready for fighting, and that was just the way Dark Star liked it. Sky Jack made his way to the largest building in the city, The Ruling Dome of Megatron. Inside he spoted Dark Star at once. She stuck out by the fact that she wore a white robe rather then the dark gray ones the the other three delegets had on. The meeting he knew was about to take place, he was about to aproch Dark Star but paused when he saw that her was twisted in a snarl of rage.
" What do you mean The MiB is giving you trouble, I don't care!" She hissed at a comm device. Glaring at the image that came over her Commviewer, she continued, " Look you worthless little rat, want that base obliterated, I want that golden disk retrived, I want the MiB shut down, I want those pods destroyed, and I want it all done now! Fail me again and you will whish that you had never been made! Dark Star, over and out!"
Sky Jack tried to slip away, but Dark Star cought him. She slithered up and graped him by the thoat, chokeing him as she spoke, " You did put the Neo bat in the pod I told you to, right?"
" Yes , Yes," He gasped, " Pod 1024. Just as you said, the MiB found it, and droped it off to the shuttle carriers."
" Good," she hissed releasing him. Sky Jack tried to get his breath back in order as he hacked she went on. " By the way you can justify your killing Torq in the tower right?"
" He was bothering me. " Sky Jack tried to explain. Dark Star just shrugged, she didn't care who died just as long as she stayed in power, she cared little for life and enjoyed death. She reviled in blood shed, and rejoyiced in any masscure. Sky Jack looked at her screen then at her again as if to ask,' do you want me to take you to the plante? That way you can handle the MiB yourself.'
Dark Star thought a momenet, if she left for the planet the others might suspect trouble, yet if she stayed the spy might mess up their mission and wind up costing the Waths more then what they wanted to loses.
