    Prowl strives to find logic and reasoning in everything.  A listener,
    not a talker.  Has most sophisticated logic center of the Maximals.
    Able to analyze and advise on complex combat situations almost
    instantaneously.  Fires highly corrosive acid pellets.  Cybernetic eye
    and frontal lobe interact with wing mounted ion orbs, supplying limited
    telekinetic power.  Afflicted with ironic, dry sense of humor.  Believes
    himself to have been a great military strategist in a former life.

Color Scheme:

Top notch! Beautiful combination of light grey, with dark grey parts, transluscent red forearms and top of head (as well as "glowing eyes" effect). To top it off, the vacuum metalized parts are turquoise, my favorite color! :)

Beast Mode:

Again, killer! His wings can fold up against his body, which is a BIG plus. Darnit if he don't look like an OWL! His impressive wing-span doesn't hurt much either. ;)

Robot Mode:

Can you say "Silverbolt" (Beast Wars, that is)? This one easily has the look and poseability of many people's favorite BW toy. His large, clawed feet make this mode very stable. I've been picking him up and putting him down, and he keeps standing, without special attention being paid to the position of his legs. Nice looking robot head, well proportioned overall body design, and those killer wings atop his shoulders.

Transformation:

They rate it just below medium difficulty, which is probably accurate, once you decipher the ineffectual instructions. The hard part is figuring out how the body part kind of rotates inside itself. Once that's out of the way, transforming Prowl is a simple matter of folding out the arms and legs and head.

Gimmicks:

His "Spark Crystal" is revealed by rotating the dome on his beast head over. In beast or bot mode, his head and wings spin around his neck. His wings can fold in or out, and look nice in most positions.

Pros/Cons:

No weapon and his wings don't lock down in robot mode, which makes them feel a little loosely attached. :( Also, in beast mode, his robot arms are merely folded under his tail, instead of tucked away somewhere.
