HEROIC MAXIMAL
    BUZZSAW
    Wasp
Function: Aerial Reconnaissance
Motto: "I float like a butterfly but sting like a bee!"

Saved by Rattrap from the effects of the conversion-freezing virus, Buzzsaw is grateful to the Maximal cause. Impressive aerial abilities and tendency towards gossip make him an excellent reconnaissance scout - likes to be the buzz about town. Multi-function stinger can pierce even the most impenetrable armor and functions as a highly sensitive receiver/transmitter. Slightly proud, often heard referring to himself as "the bee's knees," a statement none of his Maximal associates can discern.

Toy Review
Color Scheme:
Green, black, bright greenish-yellow, and translucent orange for his stinger. His wings also have a dusting of green paint over their light orange translucent plastic color. Not too wild, but eye catching.
Robot Mode:
Well, other than the fact the his legs are very thin (his bug wings) and they look like he's got high-heels on, and the fact that he's got no hands, just a stinger (that opens) and a funky double-bug-leg thing, he's actually pretty cool. hehe. His bug parts were all used in a unique way, and there's really nothing that doesn't become something else, which is nice. He does have a little kibble, though, in that four of his bug legs just stick out of his back. Very cool-looking, though.
Beast Mode:
Very bug/wasp-like in a technorganic sort of way. ;-) He's got a nice "techno-bug" look to him. My favorite part, though, is his head/face. For some reason, I like it a lot. His stinger can get in the way of him just sitting on a surface, but it's no big deal.
Transformation:
Ingenious for a basic size toy. His bug and robot head rotate through the torso a full 180 degrees from bug mode to robot mode. His arms fold out from underneath, and his wings end up as legs. It can be a little tricky getting his arms to snap back in place in beast mode, but again, no big deal.
Gimmicks:
His beast head moves from side to side, he has a spring connecting his stinger to his torso, providing a "spring sting" feature, and the stinger opens to be used as some kind of claw/grabber.
Pros/Cons:
No hands, but a cool overall look to him.
