ATTIRE RESTRICTIONS
Because this is a public park, we have a "no full camo" rule for our meetings at this location. What does that mean? It means you can wear camo pants OR a camo shirt, but not both, and NO ghillie suits or other forms of covert ops style camo. We want to be just like everyone else so as not to make anyone feel uncomfortable. If at all possible, please wear normal clothes, with no camo of any kind. Wearing earth tones will help you disappear in the cover without looking like a mil-sim nutcase. Brown pants and a green shirt would probably work really well.
GEAR RESTRICTIONS
Because this is a public park, ALL gear must be as stock as possible. That means FULL orange barrels, and NO all-black paint jobs. If you have a black paint job with a lot of other accents and colors, that should be ok, but if the tagger looks like it could easily be confused for a real gun, even by a person unfamiliar with real and toy guns, please don't bring it. Also, no muzzle flash of any kind, or LASER pointers or sights. Red dot sights that do not project a LASER beam are OK. At these locations, it is preferable to use completely original gear without custom paint jobs or modifications. We also want people to see that we're using the same gear they, or friends and family, already have, and choose to come play with us. Loaner gear will be available, so if you don't have any stock gear, don't let that stop you from coming.
PARKING
Lakeland Hills has NO parking lot. As it is a neighborhood park, the only parking available is on surrounding streets. In order to reduce the impact of our attendance, please park somewhere on the perimiter of the park where there are no, or few, other cars parked on the street. Note that there are multiple access points around the park, so it is not necessary to park across from the park's main entrance. Look at the satellite/earth view of the Google Map to see where the access points are and plan accordingly.
STAGING AREA
We will attempt to stage in, or near, the picnic shelter. As this shelter is not one of the city's reservable shelters, it may or may not be occupied by other park patrons. If you don't find us at the shelter, look for us nearby. If you do not see us anywhere by 1pm, we are probably at another location. Please refer to the When page for game dates and locations.
RESTROOMS
Lakeland Hills Park DOES have any restroom facility! It's just a small building, but as our group is small, that should not be an issue.
