Leather BoxI believe the artist that made this box is Martin Steinbock of "Martin Leather Design". It is a relatively simple design, but in this case, I like the simplicity of it. He uses tooling leather and traces his design to be cut with the swivle knife. He does not tool the piece, but wet brushes the accents on. The corners of this box bow out a little, and it is constructed with waxed thread at the corners. The top is held on by it's snugness in the sides of the box. |
