Book Cover Artwork

This is a unique project to say the least! I was commissioned to carve in the word "Sidekick" and use a buckstitch around the edges of the leather to be used as the cover of a published book. The independant publishers then scanned the piece by laying it directly on their scanner, added the rest of the text and sent it off to the printer! Besides my fee, they gave me a few copies of the book. In case you are curious, it is a programmers manual for IBM's "OS/2 Warp" computer operating system.
