Personalization:

Most project designs graphics can be modified (if necessary) to include a name or initials or monogram. A lot of people find that adding that extra touch to a project can really turn it into something special and personal. It's always a good idea to keep in mind the possibility of adding some form of personalization to a leather project.

The images below are of the various stamp sets and lettering templates I currently have that I use on my projects. Some styles can also be altered by beveling the interior or exterior of the stamp giving them two entirely different looks. Some stamps do not have this advantage. There are also a wide variety of Craftaids that have letters that can be carved and tooled in. It's not as quick and easy to tool in the letters as it is to stamp the letters, but the people that receive the project are always impressed with it. I also like to leave open the option of computer fonts. Many times I have had requests for lettering styles that are not available in any stamp or Craftaid. In these cases, it is necessary for me to find fonts that the person might like better. I then print the font in various sizes, trace the appropriate size, transfer it to the leather, the carve and tool it into the project. This gives me an almost endless variety of lettering styles for my customers to choose from, and gives me even more practice in tooling intricate designs.
