Chapter 7: The Promise

Sandstrike followed Prime into a side door near the Registration building.
He turned to Sandstrike and said "You know that our ties to Earth were broken due to an incident long by Jhiaxus and The 2nd generation Cybertronians, correct?"
"I thought that was a rumor, sir." he replied.
"It was very real," Prime said mournfully. As a result the Government thought The Autobots were a threat to Earth. This is our chance to re-establish communications with them.
But be careful, Sandstrike. There will be those on Earth who may still hold a grudge against us after all this time.
Their memories seem to be long."
Prime turned to a small safe that was situated in a wall
and pulled out a small trinket.
"This was given to me the day we left Earth by Spike Witwicky. A very old friend of The Autobots. If you find any descendents of his give it to them as they are the rightful heir to it. Don't fail me, Sandstrike. We owe him a great deal for trusting us all those years ago," Prime said.
"I'll won't let it out of my sight," Sandstrike promised.
With that Prime let him slip back to the Registratyion Center.
