Chapter 2: Some were left behind...

The Andromeda galaxy.
Wholly unknown to most races in the Milky Way.
The Predacons had to go somewhere after being driven out of their galaxy, and empty space offered no benefits.
There they found a multitude of uninhabited planets rich in natural resources ripe for plundering. It was only a matter of a few earth minutes for them to develop the technology necessary to harness the highest possible percentage of energy from these planets. Their stockpile of energon was immense, and continued to grow.

Their temporary base, hidden on one of the more volatile of the worlds they acquired, was a monstrous creation of metallic spires and buildings and paths. In the center of this base, their new ship... the Vengeance!

The Vengeance was a ship of never before seen power and prescence. Built to the hilt with weaponry and defenses, and harnessing a new compressed energon technology to hold more power in a smaller, less volatile state, the Predacons believed themselves to be unstoppable. The Vengeance was so advanced and powerful, even some of the higher-ranked officers were unaware of its full capabilities.

We find the Predacons boarding their ship, readying for launch. Megatron, who decided to discard his alternate forms all together so that he may obtain a more powerful robot form, was in the commander's throne, preparing for departure.

"Status!" Megatron Commanded
"Energon aboard, Vengeance at 99 of full power." replied a lowly engineering robot.
"Excellent... Prepare to launch on my command!" Megatron declared over the comm to all Predacons.

Predacons all over the base, fearful of being left behind, traveled at top speed to board the Vengenace. Some transformed into their alternate, faster modes, while some were forced to run in robot mode due to insufficient alternate modes... some were not fast enough.

"ENGAGE!" shouted Megatron.

*ignition*
*liftoff*

The Vengeance achieved altitude with unmatched efficiency and speed. Some of the straggling Predacons managed to fly into one of the landing bays before being left behind... others weren't so lucky....

Scorponok watched as the Vengeance disappeared quickly into space. His new double back-hoe mode he chose to help construct the base wasn't very useful for getting on the ship. He knew he was stuck, but he wasn't going to let that keep him down!

What do you do now?

Go with Scorponok to the base comm center to try to find other Predacons that were left behind.
Catch the Vengeance on its way back to the Milky Way....
