Chapter 8: The Beginning of the End

Talon leaves the building, only to see Abyss looking for him outside.
"Hey, Abyss!"
"Sandstrike?"
"I'm Talon now."
"Wow. Hey, did you sign up?"
"No."
"You still can."
"Okay. Let's go."
As he walk to the place, he considers his options. He could fight in the war to keep and eye on Abyss and perhaps become a war hero. Or he could say on Cybertron.
"Um, I'd like to sign up to fight in the war."
"Okay, kid, but I can tell you know, it ain't gonna be pretty." the receptionist said.
He signs up. The next day, Abyss and Talon board the ship they were stationed on. The Falcon. Named after the beast form of one of the participants in the Beast Wars. The ship took off.
"Now listen up and listen good! This mission is very inportant, and there is no room for failure!" The ship's commander yelled.
Talon stared off into space.
"Talon, what's wrong?" Abyss wispered.
"I thought I saw something outside the ship."
"And..."
"I have a nasty feeling about this."
What do you do now?
